Our Roots Run Deep
Two coffee lovers dared to dream of impacting their community, and while they weren’t sure how they were going to achieve their goal, they knew that they could achieve it one cup at a time! Some of the most brilliant and daring conversations have happened over a shared cup of coffee, and it is our hope that our coffee helps to spark meaningful conversations. Whether it’s with loved ones and friends, colleagues or coworkers, or just you enjoying a nice cup in solitude; when you sip, we hope that you are filled with a taste that matters!
At Blaq Bean we labor out of love, and we ensure that we put a little of both into each bag. In an effort to offer our tasters a taste that they will remember, we work with a roaster located inLower Hudson Valley, New York, to ensure that we get beans that are bold, rich, flavor, and ethically sourced. Our Coffee is micro roasted, which many consider to be the most flavorsome way to roast. We use only organic coffee beans for our blends, so there are no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals used in growing or production. Our desire is to create an uncompromising cup of coffee, with an incomparable flavor.

I love engaging with the projects I work on, diving headfirst into the research, investigation, and production of stories I feel are worth writing about. I am a curious and proactive Author, interested in preserving the foundations set by classical literature by adapting them to modern themes and trends. My love of words has allowed me to branch out into keynote speaking and poetry.

As a San Antonio influencer, and marketing manager, I've had the pleasure of working with some of the greatest minds and talents within our community.  My years in management and sales afforded me the opportunity to launch Us Empowerment and Movement Mugs, which lead to features in the San Antonio Express News. The program initiative allowed me to contribute several URU (Us Recognizing Us) monetary rewards, where the finances were used towards creating assets for our community. My aim is to create a community that fosters strength, encouragement, and overall upliftment, within the San Antonio community.
